We caught up with Emon with a few questions to understand more about the reaons why he joind the team and to get to know him better…

1. What made you decide DNA medical recruitment was a fit for you in your career?

The attraction for me was working with like minded individuals who share my passion for the industry. There are many firms out there, but not too many that really specialise in GP recruitment. David and Alan have both worked in the industry for a long time and with that they have a wealth of knowledge in the market, but additionally they know firsthand the support and infrastructure a recruiter needs to make their role easier. I am referring to things such as AI, digitisation and automation. Having these things in place allows a recruiter to focus on the things they enjoy, which is servicing our clients and Doctors. Ultimately, it streamlines everything and makes the whole process a lot more enjoyable and efficient for all involved.

2. how was the process of decision-making?

For me, it was a no brainer…

You’ll have to ask Dave and Alan if the feeling is mutual on this on

3. what are you most excited about?

Growth, both individually and as a company. DNA is still very much in its infancy, but I have been blown away by what they have already achieved in such a short time. Everyone in the team brings something to the table, but everyone shares the same drive and determination. This enthusiasm and can-do attitude is both contagious and refreshing.

The goal, of course is to become the most reputable GP agency in Australia. Collectively we have a lot of coverage across all areas of General Practice and unique roles that I know other agencies just are not able to offer. Of course, all of that would mean nothing if we were offering a subpar service, but customer service is at the forefront of what we do. I often get the feeling that many agencies view Doctors a commodity, which has never sat well with me. At DNA that could not be further from the truth.

4. do you have any advice for anyone in the market for a job that may be interested in working with DNA?

I think the most important thing when deciding on your next role is to make sure that your values align with those of the company. Sure, things like salaries and perks are very important, but you want to ensure that culturally, you are going to thrive in that environment.

DNA is all about supporting you to be the best possible version of yourself and it was founded by two of the most down to earth, sincere blokes you will meet. My advice if you were interested in finding out more, is to pick up the phone and have an informal discussion about it.

5. what’s an interesting fact about you, that you kept out of the hiring process?

I used to be a Dolphin Trainer until I found the world of Recruitment
