David Xu

David brings a strong track record in medical recruitment, having successfully managed high-volume locum placements nationwide across both public and private healthcare sectors. Prior to joining DNA Healthcare, he worked across several specialist medical recruitment agencies where he developed expertise in candidate engagement, business development, contract negotiation, and building long-term relationships with both clinicians and healthcare services.

Throughout his career, David has consistently delivered strong results, including generating significant new business revenue, revitalising underperforming psychiatry desks, and successfully placing psychiatrists and junior doctors into locum contracts across NSW, VIC, QLD, TAS, SA and other key regions nationwide. His proactive and relationship-driven approach allows him to provide both clients and candidates with a high level of service and market insight.

David holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney, majoring in Psychological Science, where he achieved Distinction grades and received multiple academic and leadership awards.

Outside of work, David enjoys playing basketball, going to the gym, and has a strong interest in weight training, where he follows a strict regime each workout to track muscle and strength growth.
