The Sandpiper Bag is a standardised bag of life-saving medical equipment, designed to allow Sandpiper Clinicians to deliver early and advanced interventions for patients with time-critical needs.
Rural and remote Australia generally has less availability of ambulance personnel and specialised pre-hospital services compared to metropolitan and regional Australia.
Sandpiper Australia aims to equip rural and remote clinicians with Sandpiper Bags, so they can ‘value add’ in emergency response situations in their communities.
Sandpiper Australia’s vision is to close the trauma gap in rural Australia, via a National Rural Responder Network of appropriately trained clinicians, equipped with Sandpiper Bags.
