Overview
In this hospital-based position, you will be providing high level, emergency medicine clinical services to the community of Carnarvon. As a senior doctor you will be comfortable working independently without supervision. You are supported by a highly skilled team of nurses and 24/7 access to WA Country Health Service team of emergency medicine specialists via telehealth.

Carnarvon Health Service had a $26.8 million upgrade in 2016. This amazing purpose-built facility boasts a, refurbished Emergency Department with two resuscitation bays, four treatment bays, central nursing station, three consulting rooms, mental health assessment room and a new triage booth. Other services include four-chair renal dialysis service, Outpatient facilities, Community mental health and child health services in one location on the campus for ease of access, A two-chair dental health clinic, expanded Telehealth services, upgraded IT infrastructure. Dedicated treatment areas including physiotherapy gym and consulting rooms for increased access to visiting specialists and practitioner and improved access and parking facilities.

Carnarvon sits on one of the most beautifully wild and untamed coastlines in Australia. Offering the viewer vistas of unforgettable beauty and contrast. Along with its natural rugged beauty, this location is the doorway to once in-a-life time, marine adventures like diving with Whale Sharks and manta rays, world class, surf fishing and the best tasting whiting in the world. Prefer to be on top of the water, welcome to some of Australia’s best and most incredible surf breaks, Gnarloo and Red Bluff. If you are feeling adventurous you could camp at Red Bluff, also known as the campground of the moon.

· FRACGP or FACRRM
· Advanced Life Support Certification
